folded his last, hand in
Shelton on November 20,
2016 due to. a stroke. He
was a beloved brother,
brother-in-law and un—
cle who will be greatly
missed. Sam was born
October 28, 1944 in
Lennox, California, the
youngest son to Gwynne
(Pederson) Haigh and
Ernest C. Haigh who
preceded him in death.
He graduated from El
Degundo High School in
1963, attended Olympic
Community College, was
honorably discharged
from the Army’s Ar-
mored Tank Division in .
1968, and retired from
Washington State Labor
& Industries Depart-
ment in 2005. Sam was
an avid card player who
hated to miss a game of
pinochle at the Shelton
Elks and Senior Center.

his friends and family
Via the telephone and
was well-known for his
jokes and stories. He had
a giving heart and was
always generous with
both friends and stran-
gers in need. Sam was
, a dedicated supporter
of the Turning Pointe in
Shelton, WA.
He is survived by his
sister, Deanna Haigh of
Shelton, WA; brother,
Ron Haigh and" sister-
in-law, Janice (Blake)
Haigh of Shelton, WA;
nephew Blake Haigh,
wife Patti Many-Haigh
and great-niece Kayla
Haigh of Stevensville,
MT; niece Keri Jo
(Haigh) Harp, husband
Hannibal Harp, great-
niece Cordelia Harp,
and great-nephew Elijah
Harp of Edgewood, WA;
