Michael James “Putter" Cagey,
28, a lifetime resident of the Skok-
omish Indian Reservation, Shelton,
died Friday, June 3, 1994, in Mason
General Hospital, Shelton
he was born Sept. 11, 1965, to
Melvin Henderson and Lillian
“Doll” Johns Blacketer, in Shelton,
where he attended Hood Canal
School to the ninth grade. He also
lived on the Nisqually Indian Resr
ervation
Mr Cagey was a self—employed
fisherman who enjoyed playing
baseball, swimming and watching
basketball.
Mr Cagey is survived by his
mother, Lillian “Doll" Blacketer,
Shelton; a daughter, Trish Marie
Cultee, Shelton; three brothers,
Kevin Cagey, Kingston, Robert
Blacketer, Olympia, and Robert
Munson, Shelton; four sisters, El-
ena Miller and Ruth Bowcutt, both
of Shelton, and Lynn Flaisig and
Kim Henderson, both of Olympia;
and his grandmother, Ada Marx,
Seattle.
