Water crisis forum topic Four agencies dealing with water in the local area will present a forum entitled "The Indian Wells Valley Water Crisis" at a joint dinner meeting of the High Desert Engineering Association (hIDEA) and the American Society for Public Administration on Wednesday, February 25. The meeting will be held at the Com- missioned Officers' Mess. A social hour will precede dinner, which will be served at 7 p.m., with the forum to follow at 8 o'clock. Agency representatives will discuss water resources available as well as op- tions for solving potential water short- ages. Tickets for the dinner meeting are $12 per person. February 6, 1987 Christian music group at chapel Appearing at the All Faith Chapel at 7 p.m. Thursday will be The Carpenter's Tools, a Christian music group that is part of the Youth for Christ ministry. The group of six young singers and mu- sicians will present a program of contem- porary Christian music that can be en- joyed by people of all ages. They accom· pany themselves with guitar, bass, piano and drums. The group has uaveled throughout the world, including China, Mongolia, Bo· livia, India, South Africa, Australia, and most of the states in the United States. They will show a multi-media presenta- tion on their uavels as well as singing their songs of praise. All residents of the community are in- vited to join in this evening of music. There is no admission, but a free-will of- fering will be taken to defray expenses.
