Albert "Max" Plapp in 1980. Editor's Note: Since the interviews in 1985, Otto William Plapp passed away on July 3, 1987 and his brother Albert Eugene Max Plapp passed away on April 12,1988. They were bolh buried with military honors at El Carmelo Cemetery in Pacific Grove.
