ton died here December 14‘ He
was 63 years old.
Born in Seattle July 2, 1921,
Mr. Bachtell was a highly
decorated World War II
veteran, a life member of the
Disabled American Veterans
Seattle Chapter 23, and a mem-
ber of the Veterans of Foreign
Wars Sergeant Fletcher Daniels
Post 4137 in Seattle.
Survivors include his wife,
Priscilla D. Bechtel] of Shelton;
a son, Dave Bachtell Jr. of
Olympia; daughter, Diann
Ware of Olympia; and five
sisters. Harriett Kuchera,
Geneva McGregor, Betty
Mallenberg and Dede Yamall
of Seattle and Effie Ivy of
'Bothell.
Funeral services were held
December 18 at Foursquare
Church by the Reverend Lewis
Wyso‘ng. Burial followed at‘
Olympic Memorial Garden. Ar-
rangements were under the
direction of McCcmb and Eat-
stone Funeral Home.
