One of the great and continuing tragedies with'n the Christian
Church is that SO many seek the Living Christ among the Dead. To
them, the Christ of history is a dead Christ.
Like other good and towering figures of the centuries, He made
His c;:ontribution and passed on into the Great Unknown, leaving to
coming generations His exalted teaching and perfect example.
Christ is nOt found amOng the dead. He Is Risen. He lives. E\'en
now Hc l:ommands the allegiance of more people than any other teal:hcr
and Icader as a source of comfort, peace, joy and spiritual and moral
strength, He sunds alone,

To everyone who seeks Him in the Word and approal:hes Him
in prayer, He is even more than a Risen, ever-living Christ. He is the
