Mary Lena Needham of Shelton.
She died February 21 at Fir Lane
Terrace Convalescent Center. She
was 101.
She was born in Hemmingford,
Quebec, on September 20, 1891 to
Victor and Delia (Deyette) Roberts.
She had been a resident of Shelton
since 1918‘ She was a member and
the oldest parishoner of Saint
Edward’s Catholic Church and the
Saint Edward’s Altar Society. She
enjoyed playing pinochle and
traveling.
She was preceded in death by a
daughter, Freda Chamberlain, in
1930, a granddaughter, Delena
‘Ragan, in 1938 and a son, Roy
Jemison, in 1969. Survivors
include her daughters, Roberta
Ragan of Shelton, Mildred Havey
of Hoodsport and Myrtle Downer of
Shelton; a son, Eugene Jemison of
Centralia; 15 grandchildren, 25
great»grandchildren and three
great-great-g‘randchildren.
An evening vigil service is sched—
uled to begin at 7 p.m. on February
25 at Saint Edward’s Catholic
Church. The Reverend Edward
Receconi of the Order of Saint Ben-
edict will of‘ficiate at a Mass of
Christian Burial scheduled to
begin at 11 am. on February 26 at
Saint Edward’s Catholic Church.
Burial will be in Shelton Memorial
Park. Arrangements are by
McComb and Batstone Funeral
