Clarence F, Hedstrom, age 78, of
Belfair died Thursday, February
10, at his residence.
He washorn September 29, 19 15
in Aneta, North Dakota, to Louise
and Fred Hedstrom.
On June 13, 1944 Mr. Hedstrom
married Ramona Hartl in Port
Orchard.
Mr. Hedstrom taught school in
North Dakota and Minnesota. In
1958 he moved to Silverdale,
wherehe taught in the Central Kit-
sap School District until he moved
to Belfair in 1961. He taught and
coached in the North Mason School
District until his retirement in
1974.
Mr. Hedstrom served in the US,
Army duringWorld War II. He was
in the “G" Company, 164th Infan-
try on Guadalcanal, He was a
member of the Bremerton Sons of
‘s: Norway, the Port Orchard chapter
F of the Veterans of Foreign Wars
{land the Bremerton Elks. He
E enjoyed coaching, woodworking,
3 bowling and golf.
F Survivors include his wife,
PRamona, of the family home; one
1, son, Perry L. Hedstrom ofBremer-
3 ton; one daughter, Paulette Cady
of Belfair; four grandchildren; two
Esisters, Evelyn Stoufi’er of Bremer-
fiton and Mildred Conerton of Saint
Thomas, North Dakota; two
