[0d] [0a] [09] On the back is written, "The mail bag is pasted on the original postcard as a joke to my Great Grandfather Goodrich who picked up the mail at this train stop & delivered it to the post office." Along the right margin the publisher data has what appears to be Milwaukee No. 1142 or 3, the line cut off half way up.` Mail to Snohomish came by rail on the NP, outgoing bags picked up from the "tree" by a hook on the car as the train passed and incoming unloaded by dumping the bags onto the station, where they were taken to the post office on 1st and Avenue B.
