Dear Ms. Wotan:
In response to your request for information on the above referenced property, I have
researched the County Assessor Tax Records and Maps, files at your CDD. I also have
studied the characteristics of the home at this location.
Building Permit No. 630 was issued September 18, 1931 for this two story, five room,
stucco single-family residence with dimensions of 18.6'x 33'. According to the County
Assessors Tax Records this parcel was first assessed for improvements in the tax year
1932-1933 in the amount of $800.00. The owner ofrecord was Manuel Francisco
Cordeiro et al.
The single car garage was permitted December 2, 1937. On October 2, 1939 permit no.
1462 was issued for the addition of an 8'x16' sun porch.
The current home has the original stucco; decorative details and the placement ofthe
doors and windows are unchanged. This is a unique Vernacular Beach Cottage,
rectangular in form with a modified sable roof I don't believe the 1939 sunroom addition
effects the integrity ofthe home.
This is one ofthe few remaining beachfront homes ofthis style.
Thank you for the opportunity to be of assistance.
Respectfully,
Betty Aick@in
