A slugfest between the Pirates
and Dodgers and a pitchers' duel
between the Red Sox and Yank-

the win over Red Sox pitcher
Don Branson.
On T u e s day the Yankees

To Be Mailed to All Households Within Week
Pu blic Opinion Questionnaire Ready
A questionnaire to tap opin-
ions and views of China Lake res-
idents and NOTS employees liv-
ing off-Station will be mailed to
II households in the next week,
according to Bob Biller, chair-
man of the Community Study
Committee.
The questionnaire is designed
to provide the Committee with
important information and atti-
tudes on a variety of items re-
lating to the study presently un-
derway.
Limited Areas Only
Because data-gathering for the
study is still in the preliminary
stages, the queslionnaire covers
a limited number of areas only.
The Committtee may well ask
PORTRAtT IN ENTHUSIASM-The faces tell the story. It is
obviously a happy one, but more than that it reflects hopes
and dreams of the future. Perhaps each of these boys from
Fresno High Schools science classes one day will be involved
questions on additional items at
a later date when it has more
information upon which to base
such questions, according to Bil-
ler.
The questionnaire will be con-
cerned with (1) satisfactions and
dissatisfactions about the various
items covered, and (2) how im-
portant each of the items is to
the respondent.
The Committee is asking each
person to whom a Station house
is assigned, or the head of each
household of NOTS employees
living off-Station to complete the
questionnaire.
All adult members of e.ch
household are asked to partic-
ipate iointly in answering the
questionnaire.
The Committee requests the
cooperation of each recipient in
completing the questionnaire as
quickly as possible. "By giving
us your frank opinions. we, in
turn, can do a much more thor-
ough and complete study than
would otherwise be possible," ac-
cording to Biller.
