Here is the info you requested:
129 4th Street was built in 1899 and the first owner was
Obedience Algeo, who was well known in the early days of
Pacific Grove. The house already has one of our plaques on
it. The house was invited to be on the Victorian Home Tour
few years ago, but the owner declined.
721 Lighthouse Avenue was built in 1904 and the first owner
was Addison Salyer. He was a tailor and did his work there
at the house.
After looking at the attached tax assessor
info for this house, my guess is that his wife donated the
house to the Methodist Church in 1918, probably in her will.
The house does not currently have a plague, but it is
certainly eligible. One would be made up, free of charge, i
requested by the owner. The plague could take up to six
months to prepare as we do them in groups.
