1 lost this diary so l was unable to write in it. There has so much
happened lately, our house is going up nice[y. The floor is being laid now.
1 suppose we wi[[ be in itnext month. At this time 1 have been very busy
teaching too. Last night Mr. Harper and l attended the Pasmore concert
81- enjoyed the program very much. J & 1 looked quite stunning. Last
Sunday we tooka stroll out beyond the reservoir, met the Tuck sisters
picking hair-be[[5.
Mon May 11-
[ am practisins on a little song and duet on mandolin, for the 55.
picnic coming off next Saturday. J &la walk in the woods and read the
Passion P[ay.

Gave Helen a [esson in the morning. James Harper and 1 took a
wheel ride out to the lake. This is his birthday-- -- -- -- but [don't know
how old he is.
Skipped down to the P.O. to post a book. "in Memoriam". Gave
Mr. Parshley a lesson $6.15
Fri 1-
Gave three lessons spent the eve playing Flinch with James and
Marna-
Sat-3-
Teaching as usual James and 1 attended the graduating Exercise in
the evening. We enjoyed the program very much. Last Tuesday was a
holiday so we tooka drive, I7· Mi le, then dut to Carmel & through
De[Monte it was an ideal day and the country was beautiful, a day to be
remembered.
