Judy Coleman Judy K. Coleman died at home in Shelton on Tuesday, June 2. She was 68, She had lived in Shelton since 1948. Mrs. Coleman was born in Port Angeles on Febru» ary 10, 1941 to Richard and BI a n c h e (Norman) M c N a mara. S h e g r a d u ated from I r e n e S, Reed H i g h School in S h e l t o n in 1959, She con- t i n u e d her stud- ies and graduat- ed from Saint Peter School of Nursing in 1960, She married Elton R. Per- mann. That marriage ended in divorce, She married Ray Coleman on February 11, Judy Coleman 1972 in Shelton. Mrs. Coleman was a li- censed practical nurse (LPN) at Saint Peter Hos- pital in Olympia In Shelton she worked at Mason Gener- al Hospital, Fir Lane Health and Rehabilitation, Alpine Way Retirement Center and Private Home Care She helped found the Ma- son County AIDS founda- tion, was selected to work the first intensive-care unit at Saint Peter Hospital, was instrumental in the orga— nization of the LPN asso- ciation and helped with the organization of the Shelton Moose Lodge in the early 1970s. She :31:ng around family and loved teddy bears. She also loved read- ing and camping. She en- joyed watching life at the buffalo farm. She was preceded in death by father Richard Mc— Namara, mother Blanche “Bonnie" 'Daniels, stepfa- ther Shar‘key Daniels, son Gentry Coleman, son-in-law Brian Glover, son James El- ton Permann and brother Jackie McNamara. She is survived by hus- band Ray Coleman of Shel- ton; daughter Linda Glover- Sproufi‘ske and husband Mike of Shelton; Son Joe Coleman and wife Lynn of Shelton; brothers Jim Mc- Namara of Washington and Dick McNamara and wife Sharon of Olympia; sisters Inez Fielis and husband Redd of Shelton, Bonita Wil- liams and husband Roger of Shelton and Jean St. John and husband Lee of Fe E11; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service was held on June 5 at Hope Cha» pel in Shelton. Burial was at Shelton Memorial Park in Shelton.
