Cabral 129 Forest Ave. Pacific Grove, CA 93950 Dear Emily: Your letter of inquiry, dated April 17, 2010, regarding a replacement plague for 129 Forest Ave., was approved by Pacific Grove's Heritage Society Board on August 3, 2010. As you know, tax records indicate that he home was built in in1887 and that the original owner was Lewis B. Appleton. Of note from a historical perspective is that between 1894 and 1901, David Jacks was the owner of record on this property. He of course owned much of Pacific Grove at the time. The lead time in preparing and issuing plaques generally takes three to six months, depending on the number of plague requests being processed. You will be notified by the P.G.
