Services will be held this morn-
ing for Shirley Loraine Shriner of
Shelton. She died in Shelton on
October 7 at the age of 70.
She was born in Sedro Woolley
on May 5, 1926 to Benjamin W.
and Evelyn (Knockey) Starts. She
was married in Seattle on Janu-
ary 16, 1945 to Harold Shriner.
During World War II she was
employed in making blueprints by
the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard
in Bremerton.
Mrs. Shiiner enjoyed salmon
fishing, camping and watching
hydroplane races. She loved lis-
tening to the Washington Husk-
ies on the radio.
Survivors include her husband,
Harold Shriner of Shelton; her
daughters, Sharon Caudill of Ket-
tle Falls and Lorrene Shriner of
Arcadia, California; her son, Har-
old Shriner Jr.; her brother, En-
gene Starts of Seattle; her grand-
children, Eric, Correna, Patty,
Amy Jo, Sara and Joseph; and
her great-grandchildren, Robert
M. Young, Devin W. Linstadt and
Daniel J. Hay.
The Reverend Robert Johnson
will ofiiciate at memorial services
scheduled to begin at 10:30 am.
