Ray Johns, 83, the

member, died Friday,
July 24, 2009 at his
home, He was born on
November 11. l925 to
Ben and Hattie (Cush)
Johns at Potlatch,
WA and was married
to Georgia Shelton
on April 7. 1945 in
Quilicene, WA.
He enjoyed playing and watching baseball, gardening,
wood cutting, shrimpingi watching boxing, telling
native American and logging stories. humming, singing,
yodcling, harvesting fruit, camping trips with family and
making miscellaneous toys for his grandchildren, but his
main interest was his family,
Ray is survived by his wife Georgie Johns, sons;
Raymond “Cooney” Johns Sr. (Brenda) and Jeff Johns
(Ann), daughters; Mary Williams, Melanie Willig (Mike)
and Meli a Johnson (Ben) all of Shelton, sister; Virginia
Hicks of Nisqually, grandchildren; Joey Johns, Kyle
Johnston, Jenna Keith, Brother Williams, Heidi Williams,
Jeremie Hughes. Joel Allen J ohns, Darrell Ray Williams,
Mariah Williams, Seath'l Johns, great grandchildren;
Isaiah Johnston, Hattie Williams. Hailey Johnston, Sun
Keith, Josiah Johnston, Sequoia Kenyan, Ariana Douglas,
Isaiah Comstock, Daivyn Colbert, Haylin Ray Williams,
Lexus Williams, Natalia West and numerous honorary
grandchildren.
A funct'al service will be held at Hope Chapel. 421 W
“E‘ Street, Shelton, WA on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at
1:00 pm. Visitation will be at McComb Funeral Home,
on Monday, July 27, 2009 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Burial will be at Shelton Memorial Park after the service,
Memorial donations my be sent to the Disabled Veterans
ofAmcrica, PO Box 14301. Cincinnati, OH 45250 or a
charity of your choice. Online condolences can be made

direction of McComb Funeral Home.
