Florence “Flo” McCann, 81, a
Hoodsport resident for the past
23 years, died of natural causes
Sunday, October 28, in Hoodsport‘
She was born February 19,
1920 in Fairview, Massachusetts,
to Leonard and Ellen (Hamer)
Wild. She married Albert Mc-
Cann on June 17, 1950 in Fair-
view, Massachusetts.
Mrs. McCann was a homemak-
er. She enjoyed cooking, sewing,
reading and needlepoint. She also
enjoyed traveling and made
friends all over the world, includ-
ing the Philippines, Turkey and
across the US.
Survivors include her husband,
Albert McCann of Hoodsport; son
Michael McCann of Hoodsport;
daughters Kathleen McCann of
Portland, Oregon, and Karen Mc-
Cann of Seattle; brother James
Wild of Mohave Valley, Arizona;
sister Mildred Allenchey of North
Hampton, Massachusetts; grand—
children Elizabeth McCann and
Peter McCann of Prince George,
Virginia; great-grandchild Katari-
na McCann of Prince George, Vir-
ginia; and numerous nieces,
nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held
at l p.m. Saturday, November 3,
at Hood Canal Community
Church, 81 North Finch Creek
Road in Hoodsport, Pastor Jack
Keith will ofliciate.
