M.H. Madden Services will be held next Wed- nesday for Marguerite Harris Madden. She died in Des Moines on December 16 at the age of 93. She was born in Yelm on July 6, 1901. She lived in Shelton from the late 19505 until 1990 and had lived in Auburn since then. She was a member of the ladies‘ auxiliary of the Veterans of For- eign Wars‘ She was in the Happy Harper‘s Mouth Organ Band and attended Saint Edward’s Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Madden, two sons, Robert J. Madden Jr. and Warren L. Madden, and her par- ents, Alexander Harris and Mary Elvira Carter. Survivors include her son, John P. Madden; six grandchildren and 11 great-grand- children. Urn committal services are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. on De- cember 28 at Holy Cross Cemetery.
