George R. Zaloudek died on De-
cember 11, 1999, in Mesa, Arizo-
na. He was 84.
Born in Medina, he was a
graduate of the University of
Washington in Seattle in mechan-
ical engineering.
He worked for Simpson Timber
Company in the engineering de-
partment in Shelton. Upon his re-
tirement from Simpson, Mr. Za-
loudek and his wife, Alma, moved
to Arizona.
He was an avid golfer and a
member of the Bayshore Golf
Club. He was also an accom-
plished painter, winning numer-
ous awards at art showings in the
Mesa area
Mr. Zaloudek is survived by his
wife Alma Zaloudek of Mesa Ari-
zona; and his brother Ted Zalou-
dek.
