I very glad she did. In a small shop in Allyn I found a stack of letters with a sign reading, WWII Love Letters, 4/$1.00. Immediately, my genealogy radar went on alert. WWII love letters! Who wrote them, where did they come from, and how could the family part with them? Unfortunately, I wasn’t the first to find them and the storeowner and her assistant told of all the interesting things people had planned to do with the letters. Decoupage, background papers for a scrapbook, paper decorations, altered books, etc. Apparently, they had sold many of them before I got there. , OCR Text: Mason County Genealogical Society P.O.
