Virginia Donna Dahman of
Shelton died June 30 at Capital
Medical Center in Olympia. She_
was 69.
She was born in Olympia on
October 12, 1922 to Donald A. and
Opal M. (Anderson) Miller. She
was married in Shelton to E.A.
Dahman on June 14, 1940. They
lived in Quilcene from 1952 to
1964, While living there she was a
member of the Royal Order ofEast-
ern Star and 4»H Clubs. She was
instrumental in establishing Rain-
bow for Girls in the Quilcene area,
In 1964 the family moved to
Shelton to work more closely with
their shellfish business, She was a
member of the Seattle Children’s
Orthopedic Guild and was closely
involved with her husband in the
Pacific Logging Conference. She
enjoyed traveling, knitting, cro-
cheting and gardening,
Survivors include her husband,
Ernest A. Dahman of Shelton; her
sons, Donald A, Dahman of Shel-
ton and Charles 0. Dahman of
Shelton; her daughters, Ann Ml
Anderson of Shelton, Susan M.
Dahman of Shelton, Peggy L,
Bloomfield of Shelton and Donna
L. Bernal of Olympia; her sisters,
Floy Batstone of Shelton and Shir-
ley Anderson of Juneau, Alaska;
her brother, Gene Clay of Lufldn,
Texas; 20 grandchildren and 10
great-grandchildren.
Pastor Randy Henderson offi-
ciated at memorial services held
July 6 at the United Methodist
Church ofShelton. Inurnment was
at Shelton Memorial Park. Ar-
rangements were by McComb and
Batstone Funeral Home.
