Tax records show that this structure was first assessed in 1891. The
attached tax assessor record shows five different owners from 1891 to 1926.
There probably was a tent on the site 1887 - 1890.
The 1926 Directory lists Jas R. Kidd, Chauffer, as resident.
Sanford maps for 1892, 1897, 1905, 1914, and 1926 are attached per your
request. The small original structure can be seen in the five maps.
The house is on the Historic Inventory and the applicable page from 1977 is
attached herein The house was awarded a plague by the Society in 1992.
A previous (1992) request for data, and the response are also attached for
your information.
