structure was actually built early in that year, or late in the previous year.
The first owner of this structure, according to the County's assessor's records was: J.D. Barter
Other Comments: We have no maps of that area of town, nor do we have any photos of this property. I
can find no information on Mr. Barter. I suspect he lived out of town and used the property as a vacation
or weekend getaway. The 1926 Directory has no listing for anyone living at the house.
