Phyllis McFetridge
Phyllis DeRosier McFetridge, a
former resident of Shelton, died
on Saturday, June 5, in Poway,
California.
She was the daughter of Clif—
ford and Adeline (Kneeland) De-
Rosier and granddaughter of
John M. Kneeland. Her mother
was known affectionately as
“Aunt Addie” by the Shelton com-
munity.
She graduated from Irene S.
Reed High School in Shelton in
1937, married George McFetridge
in 1939 and moved to California.
Mrs. McFetridge enjoyed being
a mother, was an excellent cook
and made wonderful pickles, her
family said. She was a life mem-
ber of the Mason County Histori»
§cal Society.
She is survived by her hus-
band, George McFetridge of P0-
way, California, as well as two
sons, three daughters and four
grandchildren.
Following cremation, memorial
services were held in Balboa Park
in San Diego, California.
