Dear Claudia:
Your letter of inquiry, dated may 12, 2010, regarding a
plague request for your home at 675 Sinex Ave., has been
researched by the Pacific Grove Heritage Society's Research
Team. A recommendation for the plague was presented to
the full Heritage Society Board and approved.
Although we could not obtain the requisite tax assessor
records in determining the original structural date, we did
obtain a Pacific Grove W. T. Moore Summary Map and
Listing for Block 342, which includes 675 Sinex. The attached
summary, lor your records, indicates that the original owner
of the house was an Edward S. Powers and that the house
was built iii 1921. The plague will reflect the aforementioned
information. If you have any questions or comments, I can
be reached at the phone number listed below.
Normal turnaround time for completion of a plague is two
to three mc·nths, depending on the volume of requests in
process. You will be notified when the plague is ready for
