Sue Jeanette Goos died on
Friday, March 7, at her home in
Hoodsport. She was 70.
She was born on October 2, 1937
in Seattle to James and Albina
“Babe" Dailey.
She married
Ronald E. Goos
on May 21, 1960.
He preceded her
in death.
Mrs. Goos was
a homemaker.
She loved to
be around her '
friends and fam-
ily and also loved
to watch sports.
She enjoyed 8&0:
gardening, espe-
cially roses, the
sun and beach, canning, reading,
boating, hiking and traveling to
Arizona with her friends.
She was active in the Hoodsport
community as a member of the
Celebrate Hoodsport Committee
and the local elections board. She
spearheaded a project for a pedes»
trian crosswalk at Highway 101
and State Route 119 so that chil-
dren could cross safely. When her
own children were young, she was
involved in the Parent, Teachers
Association, Girl Scouts and Boy
Scouts,
Surviving are daughter Teresa
Goos of Shelton; sons Trent Goos of
Hoodsport and T.J, Goos and wife
Jenny of Shelton; mother Albina
“Babe” Bailey of Shelton; brother
James Dailey and wife Jean of
Shelton; grandchildren Troy Goos
Jr., Tiffany, Tyler, Taya, Ashley,
Payton and Mason Goos, Brayden
Schoening-Goos and Dustin Tobey;
three great-grandchildren and nu-
merous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death
by her father, sister Margaret
Greisel, son Troy Goos and daugh-
ter Tamara Goos,
Memorial donations may be
made to a charity of the donor’s
choice.
