The block of 1¥th Street above Lighthouse Avenue is now almost entirely

import and book stores, and an art gallery. Sometimes called "Old
Seventeenth Street, 0 it is a charming example of a street whose flavor
has remained but whose purpose has changed.
Of the three pictured x here, only the one on the left is still a
family residence. It's first owner when it was built in 1884 was F. N.
Pease) owneiship transfered in 1891 to C.K. Tuttle ia=ild@irs first town
Tharmacist,4 Stone Mountain nixkkeFabric Store and its neighbor were
both built in 1888 4 and owned by Frank Harness. The carned details in
all three add to their charm.
