Longtime Shelton resident
Shirley Rae Sallee, 64, died of an
aneurysm Friday, October 27, at
Mason General Hospital. She
had lived in Shelton for 50 years.
She was born November 6,
1935, in Valley City, North Dakty
ta, to Louis and Rose (Heinze)
Diemert.
She was a homemaker. She
loved the Seattle Mariners, Seat-
tle Se'ahawks and her grandchile
dren, her family said. She enjoyed
day outings, arts and crafts, fami-
ly gatherings and writing. She
made Mariner banners and brake
lets and liked to make angel fig»
urines.
Survivors include her sons,
Richard Lee Sallee of Shelton and
Robert Eugene Sallee Jr. of Pierce
County; daughters Sheryl Haskell
and Kelly Lynn Sallee, both of
Shelton; brother Rod Diemert of
Shelton; Evelyn Marie Roberts of
Lynnwood and Beverly Roseann
Smith of Shelton; and five grand-
children and numerous nieces.

A memorial service will be held
at noon on Friday, November 3,
at Saint Edward’s Catholic
Church in Shelton. Inurnment
will be at a later date at Shelton
Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may be
made to The Saints Pantry in
care of Saint Edward’s Catholic
Church, P.O. Box 758, Shelton.
