Hoodsport, died on Sunday,
January 3, at Mason General
Hospitalr He was born in
Kalamazoo, Michigan on July 2,
1898.
He was a resident of the
Hoodsporl area for the past 30
years (since 1952) and was a
Christmas tree worker for many
years for the Hofen Company.
Surviving him are his wife,
Lois L. Underwood of
Hoodsport; sons Brian D, of
Tenino, Eugene of Germany and
Douglas D. of Port Orchard:
daughters Eloise Garrett of
Roland. Arkansas, Lois Goza of
,Little Rock, Arkansas, Wanda
Hines of Bellevue and Rita
Barnett of lssaquah; brothers
Leo and Charles Underwood.
both of Bigelow, Arkansas;
sisters Charlotte Rodgers of
Litrle Rock, Arkansas and Edith
Dean of Conway, Arkansas; 23
grandchildren; and numerous
great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held
at 1 pm. Wednesday, January 6.
