Whew! We have sur- vived the holiday rush, and the winter snow. Have we had enough for this winter? With this weather and the dark hours, we are more likely to stay in- doors. Spend some of that time reviewing your files. What files you may ask? Then your first plan of action is making the files. Okay, back to review- ing the files. As you process each file, check off the list and find out just what you have or don’t have. Once each file has been inventoried, read through the material you have and see if you can come up with some new avenues (places?) to search. Make your “To Do List” from what you don’t have and your possible new searches. Do you have a com- puter program for your genealogy? Is every- thing in file in your pro- gram? Are you sure? All of this should get you through the winter months while staying at home.
