He was 97‘ Born August 14, 1888, in Clar« ion, Iowa, Mrl Waite served in the U.S. Army during World War 1. He moved to the Shelton area in 1942. He worked for Seattle City Light until 1943, when he went to work for Mason County PUD 3 as a meter reader. He retired from the PUD in 1955‘ Surviving are a son, George Waite, Jr., of Harstine Island; two daughters, Geraldine Lewis of Harstine Island and Shirley Dal- ing of Waterville; 11 grand- children; and 14 great-grand- children Graveside services were held February 22 at Shelton Memorial Park by Pastor Roland Hubert Arrangements were under the direction of McComb and Bat» stone Funeral Home. , OCR Text: 4w;r,79z47_ George T.
