Vina B. Blevins
Vina B. (Sadler) Blevins, a for-
mer Fire District 16 commissioner,
died of natural causes on Monday,
April 10, at Mason General Hospi-
tal. She was 78 and had lived in
Shelton for 31 years
She was born on January 18,
1928 in Kent to Allan and Lillie
(MCNalJ)-Sadler.
She married Hany Blevins on
June 17, 1956 in Shelton.
Mrs. Blevins served as a com-
missioner for Fire District 16 for
10 years. She worked as a cleaning
lady for Doctor Collier and Mason
General Hospitall She also worked
in the Christmas tree industry,
She enjoyed reading and Bro-
cheting and was a member of the
Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are husband Harry
Blevins of Shelton; daughter Viv-
ian Futvin of Shelton; sons John
Rambo of Gig Harbor, Donald
Wilson of Kent, Harrison Blevins
of Shelton, and Jay Blevins of
Rochester; 10 grandchildren, eight
great-grandchildren and numer-
ous nieces, nephews and cousins.
