Lowell 0. Warner
Lowell Owen Warner, a Hoods-
port resident the past nine years,
died of natural causes Tuesday,
March 24, at Fir Lane Health and
Rehabilitation Center in Shelton.
He was 81.
He was born July 24, 1916 in
Port Orchard to Owen P. and Ann
P. (Hester) Warner. He graduated
from South Kitsap High School in
Port Orchard in 1934.
He married Viola Mercedes
Isackson on August 1, 1942 in
Seattle.
Mr. Warner was a ship fitter
foreman at Todd Shipyard during
World War II. He also owned and
operated a cabinet shop in Cash-
mere, a partnership with his fa—
ther and brother. He was also a
building contractor for residential
and commercial buildings in the
Olympia area. He retired in 1978.
He enjoyed mining, hunting,
fishing, hiking and simply being
outdoors. He also enjoyed spend-
ing time with his family and
grandchildren.
He is survived by Wife Viola
Warner of Hoodsport; sons Lowell
Warner Jr., David Warner, John
Warner and Dan Warner, all of
Olympia; daughter Lana Jean
Butler of East Sound on Grass Is~
land; and eight grandchildren
and three great-grandchildren,
He was preceded in death by
daughter Ann Tollefson and one
brother, three sisters and one
grandson.
A memorial service was held
Friday, March 27, at Olympic Fu-
neral Home Chapel in Tumwater
with Reverend David Nelson of
Saint Mark’s Lutheran Church in
Lacey officiating. Inurnment was
at Olympic Memorial Gardens in
Tumwater.
Arrangements are by Olympic
Funeral Home.
