Russell Strmgham Russell Eugene Stringham, a resident of Hoodsport for two years, died of cardiomyopathy Saturday, July 25, at Mason Gen— eral Hospital. He was 65. He was born December 17, 1932, at Portland, Oregon, to Russell and Suirelida E. (Cossins) Stringham. His early schooling was in Oregon and he attended Bates Technical College in Taco- ma. He married Ella Stringham on April 27, 1964, in Everett. He served in the Air Force from 1952 to, 1956. He, served in Korea during the Korean War and on Guam. Mr. Stringham worked as a ra- dio disc jockey for a number of years and taught radio technology at Bates Technical College. He liked to camp and was in- terested in communications, such as ham radio. He is survived by wife Ella Stringham of Hoodsport; sons Russell Stringham Jr., Christo— pher Stringham and Keith Stringham; daughter Kathy Kent; stepson James Ward; stepdaugh- ter Deborah Lumsden; brother Patrick of Oregon; sisters Sharon and Barbara of Oregon; several grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
