Unmarried daughters Martha Bliss and Mary Ella lived at 418 at the
time of this photo and for most of their lives. Martha died at age 90 in
1927; Mary Ella died at age 89 in 1937. Descendants of Benjamin
Cooley(--> Eveleth family) continued to live in this house until 1985.

����;�r;��������i;���;W\�QjCalvin Cooley's son Alford and his wife Caroline raised 5 children in

this house. One of their sons Major James Calvin Cooley fought in the
Civil War with the 5th US Cavalry. He later married Agnes Medlicott
and lived in Westchester, CT where they raised six children. He died
in 1903 at age 64. Another son, Noah Saxton Cooley also fought in
the Civil War and lived with his family in Windsor Locks, CT. He was
President of the Medlicott Co.- a maker of knit clothing in Windsor
, Locks, CT founded in 1864 by William G. Medlicott of Longmeadow.
