the Apex Grocery for 10 years, died
of natural causes on Thursday,
October 18, in Seattle. He was 76
and lived in Seabeck the past 24
years.
He was born
on March 9,
1931 in Harvey,
Illinois, to John
and Angeline
(Pizlo) Bac.
He served in
the Army during
World War II
and was award-
ed a Purple
Heart.

ville, Kentucky.
Mr, Bac worked in the grocery
business for a number of years.
He enjoyed doing projects for
his children and grandchildren.
He liked to drive his pickup truck
down back roads near his home on
Hood Canal. He was a big fan of
the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame
and never gave up on those lovable
losers, the Chicago Cubs.
Surviving are wife Arlene Bac
of Seabeck; daughter Kathy Sewell
of Bellingham; sons Mike Bac of
Lacey and Mitch Bac of Glendale,
Arizona; seven grandchildren and
four great—grandchildren,
At Mr. Bac’s request, no ser-
vices will be held. A private family
memorial service will be held at
the family home. Inurmnent will
be at Shelton Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may be
made to Mary Bridge Children’s
Hospital, 317 Martin Luther King
Jr. Way, Tacoma, 98405.
