Ken L. O’Dell Ken L, O’Dell, a Shelton resi- dent for 47 years, died of kidney failure Friday, February 14, in Olympia. He was 68. He was born August 20, 1934 in Montgomery, Pennsylvania, to Kenneth Floyd and Annabelle C e l e s t i a (Houser) O’Dell. He enjoyed coaching baseball, bowling, golfing, woodworking and puttefing around and build- ing things. He was a member of the Veter- ans of Foreign Wars Post in Shel— ton, Shelton Men’s Bowling Hall of Fame, Rainier Rovers Trailer Club and Boy Scouts. He was sec- retary of the Men’s Bowling Asso- ciation in Shelton and was very involved with the Simpson Recre- ation Association where he was secretary and ran the associa- tion’s annual bowling tournament in Portland, Oregon. He was named Shelton Man of the Year in the 1960s Survivors include his Wife, Pauline O’Dell of Shelton; sons Kenneth W. O‘Dell of Atlanta, Georgia, Scott E. O’Dell of Shel- ton and James W. O’Dell and his wife Janet of Graham; brother David O’Dell and his wife Bea of Mishawalia, Indiana; sister San- dra Lockout? and her husband Les ofWilliamsport, Pennsylvania; fa- ther Kenneth F. OfDell of South Williamsport, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren and numer» ous nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 3 pm. Tuesday, February 25, at Hope Chapel, 421 West E Street in Shelton. A representa- tive of the Veterans of Foreign Wars will officiate.
