I'm interested in finding any information you might be able to give me on one, Augustus Carlos Jochmus,
who lived in Pacific Grove, in the 1930's and before. He was married to Mary Camille Parker Jochmus,
and he was Secretary ofthe Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce for years. He died at the Peninsula
Hospital in 1939. He was a prominet member ofthe C of C, and a Party was held for him, as the
Secretary for 20 years. He was also a Judge,and came to Pacific Grove in 1907, also a city recorder and
made secretary of Peninsula Communities, Inc.
The Gentlemen in question is a great uncle of my Husbands and we are doing a Family Tree Search ofthis
person.
I'm looking for newspaper clippings on this Gentlemen and any other information I can find.
Can you be ofany help to me ? and if not can you suggest where I might look for additional information
