185 o Yours truly, J.W. Mercer Assistant Superintendent. Dear Sir:- Since Mr. Weir's departure I have been trying to gath er up data regarding unpatented claims of the several Compan ies here, and perhaps you can help me out. Will you kindly give me a list of the claims in your hands in process of patenting and state what still remains to be done on each? In sending you the fields notes and plats on the Potomac Claim - which were forwarded here from the land office, I did not keep out the plat for posting, but sent you all the papers just as they came to me.
