38 Cielo Vista Drive Monterey, CA 93940 May 12, 2002 Adam Weiland Heritage Society of Pacific Grove P.O. Box 1007, Pacific Grove Dear Mr. Weiland, Thank you very much for sending me information on my house at 667 Central. Enclosed is a copy of the obituary for William Greenwalt. As you can see, Irma Durham is Lizzie and William's daughter. I think the Greenwaltsused the house at 667 primarily as a vacation home but from time to time different family members used it. Irma Durham owned the house at 156 19th St. which is next door.I bought that property from her estate after her death in 1971. Last year, 2001, I sold it to Steven and Margery Honegger. I purchased the house at 667 from William Greenwalt (the son) and his wife Grace. Another sister, I think Helen, was living in it at the time. They told me that the house originally had more space around it but when the street was realigned and straightened, the house had to be moved back and put onto its present foundation. I guess this was in the 20's. I have married since purchasing the house and my husband and I have it in our Melendez Family Trust. Sincerely, .
