May 22nd, 1934 Members present: Mrs. Norberg. Mrs. Parker and two We worked on creepers. Fifly were sent out to date. Mrs. Parker is getting towels with colored borders ready to be worked on.. May 29th, 1934 -Members present: Mrs. Zumwalt, Mrs. Norberg, Mrs. Ison, Edna West, Mrs. Parker and Mrs. Sheldon. Worked on the quilt and tea towels. No business transacted, there being no t quorum. Quilting was done. Present: Edna West presiding, Mrs. Norberg., Mrs. Zumwalt, Mrs. Sheldon, Mrs. West, Mrs. Lane, Mrs. Ison. Discussed rummage sale last of June. Plans were made. Mrs. Sheldon in charge. Refieslnnents served by Mrs. Lane. ‘ Mrs. Zumwalt June 12th, 1934 Stitch and Chatter met this afternoon. Mrs. Dearborn, Mrs. .Zumwalt and Mrs. Parker worked on quilt. No business meeting was held. There being no quorum. Cash in hand by treasurer secretary - $1.56. Mrs. E. Parker July 2nd, 1934 Stitch and Chatter Met and appointed a committee for July. Mrs. Zumwalt, Mrs. Swennes, Mrs. Parker, Miss Werner, and for August committee: Mrs. Norberg, Mrs. Sheldon, Miss Allen, Mrs. Tilden, Mrs. Ison. All agree to send for fancy work to make up. ($1.15 postage, 3 cents, total $1.18.) Also purchased a water set @ 75 cents. Which leaves 23 cents in treasure. Mrs. Crum purchased an apron @ 69 cents. ' August 6th, 1934 ’__ Miss West sold the quilt for $10.00. We turned $7.50 to Pine Grove Treasure and $2.50 to Stitch and Chatter treasure. Mrs. Parker, Treasurer September 25, 1934 Stitch and Chatter Sewing Club met and looked over the needle work which we were to commence for fall. No business transacted. Members present: Mrs. Lane, Mrs. West, Edna West, Mrs. Zumwalt, Mrs. Parker, Mrs. Ison, and Mrs. Norberg. The club voted to thank Mrs. Tilden for the one dozen saucers. A card of thanks was sent by the secretary. ' October 2nd, 1934 imwx ~ Stitch and Chatter met Tuesday aftemoon. Members present: Mrs. Sheldon, Mrs. Norberg. Mrs. Sheldon, president; Mrs. Norbeig, vice president; Mrs. Parker, secretary and treasurer. The afternoon spent on embroidery. The July committee turned in $8.05 and the August committee turned in $26.37. Total $34.42. Penny drill 6 cents. Refreshments served by Mrs. Zumwalt and Mrs. Parker.
