Services will be held this after-
noon for Lillian Margaret Farr of
'Port Orchard, a former 22»year
resident o'f Shelton.
She died at Tacoma General
Hospital on August 28. She was
86.
Mrs. Farr was born in Cass
County, Minnesota, on December
17, 1908 to Orson and Zelma
(Cook) Hodgson.
She lived in Minnesota until
1971, when she moved to Shelton
with her husband, Art. He pre-
ceded her in death.
Mrs. Farr lived alone until her
stroke in 1991, when she moved
into Alpine Way. Two years ago
she moved into the Costanzo
Adult Family Home in Port
Orchard.
She enjoyed people and her
friends. She liked making cinna-
mon rolls, canning pickles, pick-
ing blueberries and making place—
mats and doilies on her loom,
She appreciated beauty and
nature, especially flowers and
trees, Cats and horses were her
favorite animals.
Survivors include her son,
Arthur M. Farr of Port Orchard;
her grandchildren, Sheryl Clark
of Renton, Monica Takiguchi of
Honolulu, Hawaii, and Rand Farr
of Kenton; and two great-grand-
children, Carly Farr of Gig Har-
bor and Joshua Takiguchi of Ho-
nolulu.
Pastor Steve Hill will officiate
at funeral services scheduled to
begin at 1 pm. on August 31 at
McComb Funeral Home. Inter-
ment will be at Shelton Memorial
