Colm O’Scannlain
Colm C. O’Scannlain, a Shelton
resident for the past 14 years,
died of internal bleeding Thurs-
day, March 16, at his home. He
was 57.
He was born April 5, 1942, in
New York, New York, to Sean
and Moira (Hegarty) O’Scannlain.
He served in the US. Army
from 1966 to 1969 and was a first
lieutenant at the time of his dis-
charge.
His interests included volun»
tearing on behalf of the homeless
at the Mason County Shelter in
Shelton.
He is survived by his brothers,
Diarmuid O’Scannlain and Fer-
gus O’Scannlain, both of Port,
land, Oregon, and Conn O’Scann-
lain of Tacoma; and by six nieces
and five nephews,
A funeral service was held
Wednesday, March 22, at Saint
Edward’s Catholic Church in
Shelton. Burial will be in County
Sligo, Irelandl
Memorial donations may be
made to the Mason County Shel-
ter, P.0. Box 1777, Shelton,
