Frances Baker 77 Frances “Peg” Baker, a resi- dent of Lilliwaup for the past 20 years, died after a battle with lung cancer Friday, January 15, at the Alpine Way Retirement Apartments in Shelton. She was 84. She was bum April 26, 1914, in Sumas to Nicholas and Gertrude (Marquette) Fitzgerald. She married George G. Baker on June 25, 1955, in Lewiston, Idaho. She was a homemaker and was a 4—H assistant leader while her daughter was growing up. Mrs. Baker loved gardening and grew beautiful flowers, her family said, She also enjoyed Crocheting and playing pinochle. She is survived by husband George Baker of Lilliwaup; daughter Jody Fall of Rochester; brother Dan Fitzgerald of Victor— ville, California; and one grand» daughter. At the family‘s request, no services will be held.
