at her home in Lilliwaup after a
lengthy illness. She was 74.

She graduated
from Saint
James Collegiate
in 1946 and
worked for the
Hudson’s Bay
Company. ‘
She married
Robert Black- .
burn on April 23, Dennis
1949. They Blackburn
moved their farm
ily to the U.S. in 1965, living in
California, then settling in Port
Angeles. After Mr. Blackburn re-
tired, they moved to M ason County,
She enjoyed reading, crossword
puzzles, crafts and gardening. In
the summer the Blackburns en-
joyed traveling in their motor-
home with close friends. She
loved her pet cat, Kato.
Mrs. Blackburn was a member
of the Order of the Amaranth.
She will be remembered for her
love of her family and friends, her
survivors said.
Her eldest son, Randy Black-
burn, died in 1965,
Surviving are her husband
Robert Blackburn of Lilliwaup;
sons Richard Blackburn and his
wife Jodie of Bullhead City, Ari-
zona, Bob Blackburn and his wife
Connie of Keizer, Oregon, and
David Blackburn and his wife
Cheryl of Port Angeles; daughter ‘
Beverly Lueth and her husband
Dr. Brian Lueth of Everett; sister
Carole Finlayson of Winnipeg,
Manitoba, Canada; 11 grandchil»
dren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is set for
