age of 73. He was born
January 8, 1943 to Nellie
May and Charles Harold
Briggs at Madigan Hos-
pital in Tacoma, WA. He
grew up in LittlerOck,
WA, and after gradua-
tion joined the military.
He served in the US.
Army and spent time in
Egypt and Africa; he re-
ceived an honorable dis-
charge from Fort Lewis. ' . 2
He then was em-
ployed by Simpson Tim-7
ber Company in Shelton,
where he was a wood—
worker for 38 years until
he retired.
Harold raised 13
. children and had over
50 grandchildren and
great grandchildren.
He is preceded in
death by his first wife,
Catherine Briggs, and
his second wife, Mary
Briggs.
He loved the great
outdoors, hunting in his
younger years and later
fishing with his wife,
Mary. He loved the local
rivers and lakes, fishing
for trout and salmon; he
did some charter fishing
too! He always had plen-
ty of fish to go around.‘
Harold now has been
set free. He Will be
missed clearly by all of
his family and friends
:and will never be forgot-
ten!
Burial in the family
plot will be at Calvary
Catholic Cemetery in
Tumwater, WA.
