Dallas Madsen
Dallas Wycliffe Madsen, ’72, of
Belfair, died on November 10 at
Harrison Memorial Hospital.
He was born February 18, 1923
in Moline, Illinois, to Anna and
Harold Madsen, who provided his
Scandinavian heritage and tradi-
tions.
Mr. Madsen married Carol
West on June 29, 1949 in Oak-
land, California. Together, they
entered the Salvation Army Col-
lege for Officers’ Training, where
they were ordained and commis—
sioned as lieutenants He served
actively with the Salvation Army
for 724* yeam'asfiepastor‘and'ackr
ministrator in Oregon, California
and Washington, retiring at the
rank of majorl Mr. Madsen lived
in Belfair for 22 years.
During his lifetime, Mr. Mad»
sen ministered to many, but his
family was always a top priority
in his life,
Survivors include his wife,
Carol of the family home; his son
and daughter-in—law, Jim and
Nikki of Belfair; his daughter and
son»in»law. Ann and Bill of Con—
cord, California; his son and
daughter-in-law, Steve and Brigid
of Tacoma; his son and daughter-
in-law, Tim and Holly of Des
Moines; his sister, Eleanor Mur-
ray; his brother, Ellie; and nine
grandchildren.
A memorial service was held in
Seattle with a private burial at
Havan Rest in Gig Harbor.
